Personal data

The collection and treatment of personal data made by UpWider is based on the explicit consent of the user in accordance with the EU General Data Protection regulation (GDPR).

UpWider does not collect any piece of data that is not provided to us directly by you. On our website the only data we collect is the one that you choose to provide us in the contact or apply forms. In these forms, the only mandatory fields are “first name”, “last name”, “email address”, “subject” and “message”. In addition to this information, we might collect your IP address for security reasons. 

Data processing

UpWider only processes your personal data to perform the actions you asked for. For example, if you have contacted us with the contact form asking for information about us, your data will only be used in order to get back to you with the desired information. If you applied to join our team with the apply form, we will only process your data in order to conduct the normal recruitment process. The only ones who will access your data are UpWider’s employees, who need your data to perform the action that you have asked for.

 

Data transfer and conservation

UpWider does not transfer your personal data to a third party or does not transfer your data to another country than Belgium. The data you that you transmit us will only be kept and used during the lapse of time necessary to perform the action or process that you have asked for.

Regarding your personal data, you have a right of rectification (correct the mistakes or inaccuracies), a right of access, a right of cessation of processing (your data will not be processed anymore), a right to be forgotten (all your personal data will be erased) and a right of portability.
